The other windows were delivered and as it's not my fault they forgot this one I feel they should deliver the window or get the fitters to collect it as they live close by. I live 50 miles away but they told me I had to collect it and pay the balance first before they'd organise fitting. ![]() Leroy Merlin, aware of these problems said they would get sorted when the missing window arrived. This shutter now is jammed halfway down and won't move either way. Then one of the cords begun to fray and eventually the whole sysytem jammed. The largest windows the blinds wouldn't come down when lowered and we had to open the window and help them down by hand. Again we let them fit it as we didn't want to wait any longer. Then yet another windo in our bathroom was found to be opening the wrong way. Then we discovered that the ordered blinds too wouldn't work with the handles provided so they fitted cords instead. Of course the surveyor never showed again but asked the fitters to measure the missing window. Then they discovered that one window had been forgotten and wasn't there. As our old had been removed, we allowed them to fit the new one. The old door was removed and when they came to fit the new one they discovered that it opened the opposite way. There was a 6 week delivery, the missing door made the time yet another 6 weeks so finally, just before Christmas the windows arrived and installation started. The surveyor came around again to measure, eventhough he had done before as I stood beside him. Eventally the quote arrived which we accepted but we discovered that the door had been ommited. Last September we asked Leroy Merlin to quote for new windows to be fitted and they were happy to do so. ![]()
